Let him get more experience in meaningful games rather than playing 10-15 minutes in a dead rubber first team game where most players probably won't bother showing up anyway.

There will be more than enough time for him to get involved in the first team during preseason.

Depends if Marquez actually thinks Yamal can be decisive and make an instant impact.

In terms of development it's always better to play with the first team instead of B team. He's only played like 20 minutes for them so not like he's some B star.

At 16 (only completes it a month before the start of the season) that is too much to ask from him, even Messi and Fati `didn't do it that young, and both struggled with injuries early in their careers. Bojan didn't benefit from being promoted at 17 either.
I think it will be a mistake doing so, but they might do it regardles. Might depends on our injures, whether or not Barca B will get promoted

Lamine Yamal will renew with Barcelona for 5 seasons with a significant salary improvement once he turns 16 on 13th July.

Barça bets heavily on him. At the club, everyone from the presidency, the coaches and the sports sector have blind faith in him.

Lamine Yamal will be part of pre-season training and the tour to USA. For next season the plan is that he stays in first team dynamics but also plays regularly with Barça Atlètic.
