After the swimming 6 weeks ago or so, it's now the turn of the land based athletes. This starts on Saturday and runs for 9 days. It's taking place in Tokyo which makes it hard to watch for us Europeans.

Last time I watched it was Terro Pitkamaki vs Thorkildsen javelin throw rivalry.

So yes,ancient history. Used to follow Diamond league for a few years.

Diamond League is quality. Haven't really watched it this season, though.

This is the biggest event in athletics, other than the Olympics obviously.
