Mendes MOTM easily and clearly shut down Yamal. But Spain also didn't have anyone making runs. So often Yamal was waiting for someone to make a run and no one moved so he just ended up playing the ball back. With Barca you have Raphinha or someone else making the runs constantly.

Yamal was actually bad tonight but so was many of the Spain players. But in a way it's good that the last game of his season was a game which left him a bad taste in mouth and probably gives him that motivation to work even harder in the summer.
