Media saying if that inter scored 7 goals against us Spain is just weak

PSG knocked out every prem team on the road to the final and first time ever won a UCL final 5-0

The only good thing about yesterday's game is, that the bellend Dembele didn't score. So if he doesn't carry QSG to the wc next month, Lamine should be clear favourite for the Ballon now.
Although I doubt if it's so good to give him that award this early. He's definitely earned it, as he was the best player in the world this season without a doubt, but winning the highest award so early in your career can also backfire, if the motivation decreases to go for more.

Styles make fights.

The only thing , for me, positive about this PSG win is it kills the notion that you need to by experience.

Nope. PSG just bought quality. Well, maybe with the exception of Pacho.

But they were all young quality players who had shown it at the top level.

That's how you do it.

Ya experience will come.
Lucho got time. Dont forget they were shit last year. And this year till Dec, they weren't playing this well.

He got time, and his type of players to implement.

We were weak in defense, have to accept it and improve next season. I want to believe that in a CL final those errors vs Inter wouldn't have happened but it's more wishful thinking from my part.

PSG would have put that backline in far bigger pressure than Inter did. And even with Balde and Kounde, not sure we have enough quality in defense to cope with that.

At least motivation should not be an issue next season.

Flick's challenge is far bigger than Lucho's. Lucho has a blank cheque to sign every type of player he needs. PSG is a conglomerate of some of the biggest talents from all over Europe. Picked the best young players from Portugal, the best from France. We only have La Masia. It's a great academy, the best, but not enough to build an entire team out of it.

We need to sort the finances, and go after the likes of Joao Neves, Vitinha, Pacho, Kvaras etc. To do that, you need 200m in transfer fees alone.

The Golden ball 2025 belong to Lamine, another win vs Dembele and Mbappé next week and it's done, Hopefully he will score against France, show them who is the best Lamine. Stop your headless chicken propaganda, he was shit yesterday and only scored 2 goals in the last 7 PSG games in CL.

Ya, Lucho got a blank cheque. However, he also excelled with the transfers.
It's a lot of players, but arguably, all of them were of reasonable prices.

Everyone would have taken Kvara and Desire for the amount they went for. Hakimi too.
Our board doesn't have the vision to identify those talents. We have LaMasia saving our asses everytime.
We are chasing Diaz for more money, and that's just shameful.

Why shameful? Diaz proved way more than Kvara and Doué at high lvl. I Dont think we should recruit him though, he is 28 already, We need to recruit Nico Williams.

Think all the talks if Lamine gets the reward early would demotivate him is bollocks. Players don't get demotivated unless they already have that sort of character, acclaimed or not. The twinky teen is already a millionaire, only tiny margin of people in the world can have such worldly success. Some individual trophies wont spoil him, if he isn't already. My intuitive hunch is that this guy's desperate to show his worth on the field and become a legend. No amount of riches and glory would make this lad back off, at least while he's young.

The most shameful thread on this forum.

Every less than perfect performance the haters come out of the cave. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be his performances, but his demeanor or attitude. Or the amount he is to be paid.

Lamine also gets constantly compared here to players who aren't in the same statosphere, just like what happened with Messi. Do we really need to wait for him to win the World Cup as the MVP to recognise him as the best in the world?

And it seems that he doesn't even need to play at all for his greatness to be questioned, as today they are saying Doue is comparable.

Burn this fucking thread to dust.

Recency bias and forced rivalry. Yamal doesn't really have any equal as nobody is doing what he is at this age, it's normal for fans to want the next Messi vs Ronaldo.

It's quite funny seeing butthurt United/Real Madrid fans attach themselves to Doue in trying to force some weird ass one sided rivalry with Lamine.

Madridista's it's obvious why they are bitter, but United fans, especially on X? Such an insanely bitter fanbase that goes back all the way since they lost the two CL finals against us and the fact they are so upset that we didn't have a long lasting Banter era like they are currently experiencing and we are able to still compete in both the League and in Europe while they having done jack shit.
