guys dont be so harsh to him, he won pen and scored 2 nice goals

dont forget from where he comes

atm he is absolutely overperforming and im sure he will he will also show his worth in big games

He has scored against most of of the biggest teams in Europe for Man United. I have no idea why one or two seem to think he's suddenly not capable of scoring in big games or against big teams 😂 Because history shows otherwise.

Nah…kept throwing mathematical models at his salary to prove wasn’t wort the risk.
Yeah. I August, projecting it won't be worth it. Still expensive.

Try harder.

I scored a major prediction back in September when everyone was turning on him and I saw him working hard and just a matter of time before he delivered.

Big Win.

When you play loads of games against clubs, you're obviously going to score some.

He played against Man City and Liverpool twice a season for ten years (apart from when injured). Of course he will have some goals against them.

He and Man United never did anything in the CL or league, or got anywhere, despite them sometimes playing above themselves against better teams like game raisers.. He is a microcosm of them as a club - a minority of good and false hope surrounded by a sea of absolute shite.

And you overlook the key issue - that outside of Goals and assists, his performance are generally abject. He does that Ronaldo think of being anonymous for 89 mins then pops up with a finish in the box. I know most football fans don't care as they can't see beyond stats, but I am not most football fans. Qualitative data and the eye test matters loads to me.

Again, you're not watching the games. Rashford works hard here, tracks back and presses.
Could have had even more goals but was unlucky with woodwork etc.

Ok.

I watched the PSG and Girona games and he didn't impress me. That's just in the last few weeks. He had moments, but his general game didn't appeal to me.

I won't write him off completely, but based on what I have seen over his entire career, I can't imagine him suddenly turning into a guy who plays a huge part in winning league titles and CLs (allowing for the fact he's at a better team and bigger club, now).

Rashford having a good season doesnt depend on Barca winning the league or CL.

Likewise if Barca were to win it doesnt mean he has had a great season either.

Performances matter to assess that by end of season either way.
Precisely - by the end of the season.

Not in September or October. In fact I play such a long game that I don't even think one season is enough to assess him adequately. Especially him who is known for losing motivation when he gets a big contract.

I am old-school and tend to only rate plenty of players as world-class if they're been quality for multiple seasons. Unless they're someone who is a guaranteed superstar and young in their career.

Folk are discussing how he has played so far as far as I can see.

No one is claiming it is already a top season.
