Paid by who exactly? Ter Stegen who's scrambing to get paid?

I had this same feeling during Laporta’s first term, does anyone remember the nepotism and how he left the club broke, forcing massive loans just to stay afloat? He's lucky he missed that vote of no confidence back then.

After Bartomeu, I hoped for a break from the mismanagement, but the fanbase keeps falling for the same bs narratives.

I stopped believing any player actually took paycuts. As in money they signed on for vanished due to Covid. It was all deferrals imo. Probably structured to help the club, but money owed will eventually get paid to all of those overpaid players.

Then he should have left this summer as the club wanted initially and he could have done this whole thing at his new club.

It’s not our own problem what his aspirations are. He was told he was not a part of our plans before he returned to training and started having pain again.
Then the club shouldn't have kicked the can twice on paying his wages. It's not his problem that Barcelona can't get their shit together.

So, let's see how the scumbag handles this in chronological order:

- Background info: he has always been ENTITLED AF that he is the boss and no one removes him from Barca's no1 (old story analyzed in the past). That also happens when Flick comes in

1) The scumbag gets season-ending injury, we sign TEK to replace him, but the above attitude and mentality doesn't change.

2) That's why, when he returns in April, he gets his fucking agent to CALL THE CLUB to PUT PRESSURE on the club and Flick to ditch TEK (and play him in the most important stretch of the season). Of course, Flick doesn't entertain any of that shit, and since that phone call, he is DONE in FLICK's mind.

3) When Flick doesn't obey, he gets mad, and he doesn't address the fans in the Villareal game, breaking even the most rudimentary customs of the club. That moment he is also DONE in Fatporta's and Deco's mind. Conversation about him between Hansi and Fatporta can be seen on camera. Official search for replacement starts

4) When he doesn't play against Bilbao (last game of the season), and he missed the bonus, he get EVEN more mad.

5) When we sign Joan Garcia, he explodes

6) Flick tells him IN PERSON when he returns from vacation that he is behind both GArcia and TEK. I assume if Pena is to stay around, he would be behind even Pena.

7) Instead of finding a club and a way out, the scumbag decides that he needs to treat NOW some long-term issue at the back he has been suffering from. What a strange coincidence in time!

8) When leaks and reports all over the place appear that the club will use LL's FFP rule regarding injured players to register Garcia, he decides to go on TOTAL WAR against the club, and he first announces on purpose a 3-month absence to undermine club's plans

9) When he takes a big L with the operating doctor saying he will be out as much as needed for the club to activate LL's FFP rule, he goes on to do something UNPRECEDENTED, something no player EVER did before: he refuses to sign the medical consent so that the doctor's report will be sent to LA Liga

10) Club opens disciplinary case against him, strips him of his captaincy. He is unfazed, briefs the media that he has the law on his side according to Spanish player's association.

11) Inigo gets sold to Saudi, and the FFP generated is enough AT LEAST to register Garcia, even without 1:1

12) he realizes he is fucked, as the only leverage he had against the club is gone. He tries to to damage control with a pathetic announcement, in which he tries to deceive gullible folk by saying that "contract signings and contract extensions for the club were completed before my operation" as if everybody and his mother in Cataluna don't know already that signings have nothing to with registrations

Don't worry pal, you will get the end you deserve.
Not only in Barca, but in football in general.
And it will be so beautiful and satisfying to sit here and watch that!!!

This guy ain't gonna leave anytime soon lol

That's his problem really.
His retaliation shit went against him and exploded back on his face.
Once Garcia registered, he has 0 leverage.
He is never gonna play again for Barca, and deep down he knows that

At this point, he has only 2 options really:
1) Sit on his contract, never play again, and become Hazard or Bale: essentially quit football, and enjoy easy life in Barcelona paid well
2) Swallow his pride, and find a club in January to save at least his career.

Wise people would opt for 2
Stubborn idiots go for 1.

In any case, he took one of the biggest Ls ever in any club against player situation ever

It's our problem to pay him. You repeatedly refuse to acknowledge what the problem is here. He can't just fuck off somewhere else unless the club that takes him covers what we have to pay him.
So unless you or him are retards you wouldn't leave money on the table or scramble to beg some Saudis to pay you because Laporta says so.

Then the club shouldn't have kicked the can twice on paying his wages. It's not his problem that Barcelona can't get their shit together.

If he left we would have paid off the deferred wages as we did with every other player that left.

Once he decided to stay he also need to do what is best for the club whether he likes it or not.

It is not our problem. As simple as that.

He was told he is surplus to requirements —> He decided to stay anyway —> Started having more back pain which caused the surgery

Now its in his best interest to be nice with the club so we can facilitate his exit in January so he can fulfill his dream of starting for Germany.

In the end I’m pretty sure his agent made him come to his senses.
