First BBZ creates entire narrative on how Barca only accumulates weak choir boys at la masia that has no mentality to compete with all the big handosm manly men, and then, when suddenly some no nonsense cocky boy shows up, coocks the best italian defense at ripe old age of 17, the cockiness now is the big problem. Never change, fool.
Because the world is black and white and there is no middle ground between players who gets bullied and crumble under pressure on away CL games and a guy who will probably be done till the age of 25 due to his ego and bad surroundings?

Ok. We'll see.

Nothing wrong with his ego. Not everybody needs to be timid and subdued outwardly. His surrounding is what it is - a liberal culture that endorses hedonism and irresponsibility, especially with lot of money to spend. If he's actually serious about moslemhood, that would come handy to outbalance that.

As a Muslim I second that logic - hopefully he will acquire a maturity sooner rather than later, and be inspired by the likes of Kanté, Benz and Mané rather than living like Ney and Dinho - though, I expect something in between like a Pogba - also not terrible, but preferably see him loose the bling and women with maturity. We'll see.

For an elite athlete ego is a good thing. Unless ego pushes beyond his abilities, which in Lamine's case is not. He is the best footballer on the planet and he can carry a team on his own

Another strange thing we often get to see in this thread - Neymar is literally associated with failure. What is wrong with you people?
