Lot of good point in him, but let's not fool ourself yet... So much can change in even 6 month... Really enjoyed his perforrmance but we have to see how it goes against teams whih are focus on defense and that give less space
Ps : Let's not forget that by his incredible Aura, the Shark makes everyone better with is Goal craving aura

I think the hype is warranted. You don't put up a performance like that at 16, with the variety of skills he displayed in dribbling, shooting and passing and just fall away. Add to that the game intelligence and decision making that he has and he just has far too many assets in his locker to fail.

This was also against a Betis side who have been fairly good defensively, at home, at least, in one of the most atmospheric stadiums in Europe.

I think we can safely say that Lamine will have a great career. Just how great is anyone's guess though.

Let's see if he can keep this up. Would be very surprised as consistency is what ALL young teenagers lack.

Could be a golden opportunity to seal his place in the XI with Raphinha out.

He tracks back and works hard too, stamina doesn't seem to be an issue.

Only thing that can change anything is injuries.. other wise there is no stopping him.

Or.. the arrival of Messinho.

The world ain't ready.

Looks like Neymar speed-wise. Not fast, as in powerful sprinter like Ronaldo/Mbappe type, but agile, and quick feet.
Neymar was very fast. Just not the fastest winger/forward of his generation like Mbappe and Ronaldo Nazario (CR7) is/were. Just because you're not the fastest doesn't mean you're not fast. Neymar at his prime easily blew past most fullbacks with ease.

Would still bank on Lamine getting faster. When you watch a few videos of 16 years old forwards they all looked slower than their older years (19-21).

Lamine needed this game. It played out perfectly from 0-2 to 2-2, then 2-4 to battle and harden Lamine. Now he knows the experience and what it feels like. He went straight to Xavi to celebrate the assist on Ferran. It has to be special.

Lamine is the new Barca wizard. The sky and hamstring injuries are the limit.

Exactly. Neymar was very quick, both in acceleration on first few meters and in changing directions which are the most important traits for a winger apart from technical ability.

Young Neymar is the role model Lamine should look up to with the first MSN season being his peak season as a team player. He improved individually and had great phases after that, especially when Leo was injured, but with Lamine the club should look to train Lamine to become what Neymar was in that first MSN season.
