Laporta is calm about the Super League. His Lawyer advised him that they're gonna win the Court Case against UEFA. Laporta hopes the judgement will come before July so they can start the European Super League in September [MD]

It's finalized. The only thing missing is the start button

- Super League will be open and based off League Positions
- there's Super League A and Super League B with Relegation
- The Football clubs will help finance the Fans with their Trips outside of Europe.
- 50% Of the Ticket Prices will be capped
- Final Games will be handed 70% to supporters and not like 30% in a CL Final
- ESL Clubs expect the EUGH to rule for them , they did similar to Basketball

Same positions for every league? and how many?
first 4 EPL teams and first 4 Seria A teams?
For it to have any meaning, you need more than 4 from the EPL at least.
The original format had 6 EPL teams

Perez and Laporta will meet and discuss about the Super League Project. They want to be prepared if the Judgement doesn't come in the Summer

What is your obsession with this dead in the water ESL?

It is not going to happen. If they want to play el Clasico 10 times a year or something themselves, go do it.

It's not dead man

They signed for 23 years and penalty fee is 500 Million

They're just waiting for the ECJ Judgement. All English Clubs still inside and still want it to happen

I think it is happening for sure, just a different format.
Basically taking the middle man out (UEFA) like they have done with Basketball.

Same tournament, more money and court rule approving it.
Doubt anyone will be able to fight against it

EU opposes it, the national governments oppose it, the national leagues oppose it, the fans oppose it, how is it going to happen?

The English clubs will not break the law and go against the wrath of the fans to do it, they already have a golden platter delivered to them with a lot of money on it. Why jeopardizing it for the ESL?

In theory yes, like the EuroLeague in basketball, but in reality the interest and money in football are so well entrenched that they are not going to be broken easily. Meanwhile UEFA wants to bring in 30 billion euros of sponsorship revenue between 2024 and 2027, I am not sure if the ESL will have more money after all.

Unless their modified ESL proposal is something that the majority of national associations and fans like (which I doubt), it will be going against extreme headwinds to make it happen.

Noone is above the Law. The EJC ruling will decide the fate .

The English club aren't breaking any laws, the Premier League is the same as the ESL when it started.

They signed for 23 years binding agreement. If they don't want to play , they have to pay 500 Million.

The only Law they are breaking is when they refuse to start
