The officials gave it onside due to Garcia touch but the rules surely not meant for that situation even if taken literally.

Busquets declared man of the match. JamDav says he was shit. What a fucking clown

Nah I said he passed ball well and was usual non entity when France pressed higher up.

Gave away ball and was nowhere to be seen as DM at that point.

Couldnt care less who MOTM was either way.

Enjoy MOTM award when on losing team and shit trying to defend the lead. Must feel good.

Calma mink.

Besides, Mbappe is showing his intent to play the ball every step of the way, thus influencing the player to attempt the sliding tackle in the first place. So you should even judge it offside based on this paragraph from laws of the game:

making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball

Mbappe is competing for the ball there, quite obviously. So it's offside even before Garcia tries to block the pass. Seriously, those refs are just bad. They just don't know the rules.

Shit they really ruled it as „deliberate play“ by the defending player.

Even then it's offside. Because Mbappe is influencing him to attempt a rushed block while offside. The only reason why he slides in is because Mbappe is showing intent to play the ball while offside.

The only way it is not offside is if the player controls the ball and THEN he makes a bad pass and Mbappe intercepts it. Then it's another play, which is basically a turnover.

Of course, it's deliberate play, he doesn't slip by accident.

I don't know why people are emotionally invested in a glorified friendly cup.

Winning Nations League is no different than earning a trophy in a pre-season tounament.

Basically I would totally agree with you, but it seems those are the rules nowadays, even though they are totally idiotic.

See a similar case discussed here http://proreferees.com/2019/03/19/tor-vs-ne-deliberate-play-on-the-ball/

My bad, Busquets hasn't won player of the match, it was Benzema.

He got the award for player of the tournament.

Don't know if that's better or worse for JamDav

Nah, the rules are fine. You can judge it offside based on the rules.

making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball

Is he making a move for the ball in offside before Garcia slides in?

Of course. Everybody can see him sprinting for the ball like a madman.

Does this force Garcia to rush his tackle, resulting in a failed block?

Yes.

---> offside.

Of course, you can misinterpret the rules if you are dumb. That's another discussion.

Clowns like you that think Busi was good last season and Barcas best mid.

Yet scratch head when Barca take their next hiding and Busi is miles off the pace leaving space all over the shop on front of the CBs. As he did tonight when France pushed for goals.

You love a Barca tanking. Only praise players who play in them and get exposed seems to be the rule.

Enjoy Busi mink.

As always said.. folk will purr for Busi and over rate his game when he has space to pass.

Then scratch head when he is shite when gets pressed.

Nothing new and clowns like you love to see it.
