Right now it seems less to do with how good Alaba is and more to do with who he wants his LB to be. While Mendy seems hurt again, it doesn't really explain why he'd rather insist on putting Rudi there. Don't really understand it yet

Barca-fans will insist that Perez is a genius, perhaps its just me failing to see how genius this transfer window has been.

Barca-fans think Perez is genius only because they had Barto. For example they say ?Wow, Perez sold 33 years old Ronaldo for 100 mil, he is ruthless, he is great businessman?, but they never said ?Ronaldo?s departure ruin their season, put Perez in situation where he buy finished Hazard with 1 year contract for 120 mil and amateur Jovic for 60 mil and because of that Madrid had no money in next 2 years?. Perez invented the stupidest format for Super League. Last summer he wanted Allegri and only hire Carlo after Allegri refused. I dont even want to talk about Mbappe. Genius, yeah?

Well, nobody could have known hazard and jovic will flop, both were class. Carlo has been pretty average after his flop years with Bayern and Everton, far away from Klopp/Tuchel/Pep level. This season Real had the luck of the century even though Carlo made them a lot better than in previous years. Mbappe didnt want to come lol what should perez do? Not a genius maybe but still on another level compared to barto.
