A cheaper alternative for Kounde imo. We should consider him next summer if Ajax won't sell in January.

Should really be looking to take a punt on players like this (and Alvarez from River). Will probably cost similar too, 25-30M at the most. Even if they flop, we won't lose more than 10M on them, since they can still sell for half of what they would be bought for. And if they succeed, they'll be considered as huge bargains down the line, and we have some more proper young talent to look forward to having in our team in the next 5-10 years. God knows we need it, especially in defense.

We need players who help us to win now though, not players who are signed because they will keep their value.
He seem talented, but he has the body or Eric Garcia albeit being faster.
Ten Haag has done well with him and Martinez, and they have contained Halaand fairly well in their duel, but I don't feel he is ready for this step.
Would prefer to see if we can go for a Kounde or Laporte first
