I don't think he said anything himself? Was busy getting knighted.
Far as I heard it may even be closer to the opposite - Toto funneling doubt that he might not return to race. In which case Lewis might give even less of a shit he came 2nd than anyone says because it'd make no difference to his own standing to try and cry. And he's arguably the most PR trained multiple winner of anything ever

Toto didn't seem mad when he was partying just a few hours after the race :mou:

And Mercedes were trying to get everyone to delete that video

Just watched the full race after DVRing it. A fun season overall.

Lewis Hamilton with his back to the wall in the WDC standings put up 4 straight clinics.Had one of his best ever performances in Brazil and he did well in Abu Dhabi on his ~40 lap old hard tires and put himself in a position to win.

Definitely got screwed by the race director. Do not agree with Masi's decision to unlap only the 5 cars in between. Lewis Hamilton was robbed of making history.

To his credit Toto seems in favour of ending team boss radio with race control.
Wonder if it’s just another PR likability stunt and how long they’ll go without complaining

I don't think Toto should consider such move as this will leave room for other team principals to manipulate race control.

So FIA terminated the contract with Russian Sochi Grand Prix organizers and there will be no races taking place in Russia in the future, not until Putin or similar minded leaders are in charge.

Russian drivers are still allowed to race, but UK has banned them from competing on their territory - Nikita Mazepin will not race at Silverstone. What a huge loss! Russians are junk drivers anyway, the only reason they are present in F1 is sponsorship money from the oligarchs.

That goes for most F1 drivers tbh. Most of them have big money backing them. Like Carlos Slim backing Sergio Perez at the beginning of his career.

The rumor is that Haas are ditching Mazepin and will announce it tomorrow anyway.

Yeah, Mazepin is a disaster, anyway. The rumour is they are hiring Gio from Alfa Romeo.

Mazepin is definitely one of the worst drivers in f1 history. Seems like a shitty person off track too.

It's official, Nikita Mazepin and Uralkali are no longer a part of Haas F1 Team. The sport got rid of this clown.
