Drummond to LA, an all star in his prime signed with vet min  these buyout are a disgrace

Last 5 seasons franchise players are opting to take the shortcut to the championship ring. Started with LeBron going to Miami, then Durant's "snake" move to Golden State and so on. IMO it's unfair to small market teams, but on the other hand they have the opportunity to build a great long-term team for the future outside the spotlights like Denver and Utah did.

Western conference getting very intense in the NBA. Mavs, Blazers, and Lakers all have the same record with a few games remaining. They are in 5th, 6th, and 7th spot respectively.

Think he's been decent for the Bullets no? Sounded like an improvement over a guy without a working knee

Wizards have been Beal's team this season. Russell has been good for them but Beal single-handedly gave them more than a few wins this season. Unfortunate that he got injured.

Lakers vs Warriors in the play-in tournament for the 7th seed. Loser gets another shot for 8th seed and will play vs winner of 9th/10th seed (I think it's Grizzlies/Spurs in the west, respectively). This essentially expands the playoff contention from 8 teams in each conference to 10 teams. Scenes when the 10th seed manages to win the championship in the future

Yeah, probably in the future, but in the current era of 3 franchise players playing in a single team leaves absolutely no chance to underdogs. I admire what Utah Jazz and Denver are doing in the last few season, being small market. Slowly building strong teams without much fanfare.
