Well, it was nice until it lasted.

SF a much better team with elite coaching who can make Brock Purdy look like Mahomes.

Total colapse in second half. As expected this defense is nowhere near good enough for playoffs. Geno with a fumble that probably finally lost the game and OL also with some costly penalties.

Overall still a much better than expected season and this game a good learning curve for many players (32 I've read although pretty sure a lot of them won't be back) who have played their first playoff game. We clearly have something to build on and with two more 1st round picks to come in April.

Won't happen now but I think it's time for Carroll to retire after next season if he won't finally build at least a respectable defense. We lack talent but coaching is as big if not bigger problem. Don't expect a LOB level of dominance but at least show some improvement. He's a defensive HC and defense is mostly terrible for years now. We've also tried 3-4 defense this year but didn't turn out good either.

E: Lost 6 of last 8 playoff games since SB in 2014.

What a comeback for the Jaguars! Trevor Lawrence with four 1st half INTs and then he responded with four TDs to win it with last second FG. :worthy:

Brady looks washed up. Should consider retiring again, but guess he will end up in Las Vegas or San Fran if the 49ers don't go all the way.

On another note I'm so tired of Aaron Rodgers and his BS every year now. Hope we move on this year. Not sure if Love is the guy, but worst case scenario we pick high in 2024 and get a top QB prospect in what is supposed to be a good QB class.

Just checked who's the oldest ever player to play in NFL. Brady is just 3 years shy from the all-time record. Just 3.

George Blanda holds the record at age 48. 26 seasons in NFL from 1949-1976.

Yeah, has nothing else to do after his wife left him.

Has actually just retired again but fully expect he'll be back in a few weeks.

Apparently he is signing a lucrative deal with Fox to be a pundit. Over 300M for 10 years.
Not a bad retirement plan tbh

Pundit, he's the goat, that's a pretty lame career follow up TBH.

MJ ain't be no pundit
