I have no clue what is with this guy.
Beats defenders for fun. Then passes like he suddenly forgot how to play football.
Some of his runs through the center/flanks are nuts. Have not seen that kind of power running.
Many a times slows the ball down, then beats defenders, he had so many opportunities for first time balls just refuses to do them.
Also rarely loses the ball for the amount of take ons.

Isn't type of player for Barca. Italy or some team that play counterattacs yes but for us he's usless.. I would like to beleave that "Barca ID young player" is back to us, but he isn't that.

Santi Ovalle (cadena ser) claims Oscar Hernandez had to calm him down on the sideline because he was very nervous and upset about not playing any minutes today.

Worthless players don't suddenly improve at the age of 26. He just had a bump in form and is now back to his regular level.

Teams got wise to Xavis tactics and sit with x5 defenders often.. One marking CF and two between CF and wide player either side.
Virtually every time wide player gets it they are 2 v 1 and often little room if sitting deep.
Adama crossing is poor from deep and looks like teams were just sitting off him not too fussed if he put ball in. Dembele is better dribbler, better final ball and can go on left and cut in if sit off him.

Pedri, Gavi, FDJ, and Nico rarely tried to link with him on his successful dribbles. He'd make it 50 yards up the pitch and no one made themselves available as an outlet, really strange to witness.

Adama is a dribbling beast (he just goes past players effortlessly), even better than Dembele but he lacks good final balls and makes worse decision than Dembele
