Don't worry too much about it, its just the low standards Arteta has successfully made the fans buy into.
They haven't really gone anywhere under him, but somehow half the fanbase thinks he is a top-tier manager.

Gentle reminder: Arsenal fans crucified Wenger for finishing top 4 every year with far lesser expenditure while playing absolutely swashbuckling Football(Wengerball was awesome to watch).

In the end, Wenger was probably a bit underrated. He didn't spend much money yet team performed on a very high level, always.
It's funny how things can look so different after few years.

Wenger was underrated by a mile. The guy made a revolution. Not only in an Arsenal but in the EPL. Call it an exaggeration but he brought the idea of an modern football to them. He and Fergie are both creators of this super EPL. Before them it was a borefest of a football. Problem is that most EPL fans don't remember it. Or they don't want to admit it.

How can Arsenal play like Barca, when they don't have anyone even remotely similar to the unique player that is Busi. I thought that without him you can't play beautiful football.
What is it now, is Partey the closest DM to Busi, or is it that the DM role doesn't need a special player to play beautiful football, just a guy who is not a walking corpse.

Yet with Busquets Spain and Barca have been found out at v top teams vast majority of time in last ten years with him being brutally exposed.
But lets cheer for Busi and Barca while club get cunted time and again with him moving like a sub GK playing DM while all those other teams who dont want a Busquets type get it right.

And look where the system with Busi as the main guy got us. In the past 5 years we are more know for our humiliations than for beautiful football.

Busquets has been humiliated and targetted in near enough every Barca thrashing for years.
Doesnt have it.
Most of those thrashings Barca have scored goals... but Busi and defence been absolute shambles and couldnt cope with pace of the game.
Then again arguing with someone who doesnst watch games and just claims he was brilliant anyway.

If that was true then every soccer pundit worldwide would be on his case
In reality EVERY pundit still rave about him whilst acknowledging that he has lost a bit of pace ( he was never fast though)
