EPL teams do not take a Thursday game in Europe seriously. Tottenham play Wolves on Sunday, that is the focus for them.

Nah, EPL teams take the EL pretty seriously now. Problem is they're quite shite.

Regarding the ECL, big clubs won't take that tournament seriously, that's true.

The Europa League is taken seriously now because it can get you into the Champions League. This new Europa Conference League is utterly pointless for Premier League sides. The best they can do with it is use it to blood some youth or bring players back in after an injury.

I admire Spurs' desire to take it seriously by failing in this European competition too. Hopefully the rest follow suit and perform like they normally would as well.

Priority is the EPL. To win it. Get in the top 4. Get in top 6 - but when in Europe it must not interfere with EPL . Stay in EPL at all costs.
If you are going to miss out on top 4 and there is a possibility of winning EL then the bonus of CL follows, so you want to win it.

The priority is to watch EPL, for me a break for international matches is so disappointing.

"Tottenham are preparing contracts and paperworks to appoint Antonio Conte as new manager. Agreement set to be signed until June 2023 once all details will be fixed. White circleHandshake #THFC. Antonio Conte is currently in London with his camp, ready to meet with Fabio Paratici."

Hopefully, a deal will be finalized. Also, good deal for Levy for the agreement to be signed until June 2023.

Oh dear

Probably a decent fit actually
Wonder how he'll get on with Levy. IMO as much potential to spotaneously combust the project as there was at Chelsea

Also - why did they not go for Conte in the summer? Like, was he waiting for some other club and now seen United aren't keen and not that likely to get the call from Paris?

So the top 5 in EPL features as coaches the following names:
Pep, Klopp, Tuchel, Conte, and.......
Ole!!
 LOL the drop-off in quality....

I remember there were negotiations in the summer, but Conte was not convinced he will get the huge financial backing he always demads.
Dunno what changed since then...

Conte is now in a more favorable negotiation position to get his demands.

Feel like Spurs Fans will be mad if Conte is not signed.

why on earth would conte go there? an intransigent administration that wont give him spending money and a squad that has been in decline since the CL final loss to liverpool

he should wait for the united job. spurs is a losing bet
