Surely end of the road for Deschamps. Done all he could with that team, even gone back on that Benzema thing and team going nowhere with him. Took a chokejob for them to get angry and start playing with character. Zidane is a good fit for this side.

Your name has to be written on the cup. Then whatever happens against you, be it deflected shots, keeper errors , own goals, referee decisions or even penalties, somehow, miraculously you get through. France name was not written on the cup this year.

Is this the same guy who was "responsible" for RM having million injuries this season?

- Rabiot & Pogba insulted each other - Rabiot unhappy with Pogba's defensive efforts
- Varane insulted Pavard, unhappy with his defending

I mean.....Pogba was probably not tracking back as much as he did, but I did see him winning the ball back in the midfield so he was at least pressing and trying to win the ball back.

Perhaps he didn't track back as much as he should've, but he's the only player along with Benzema and arguably Griezmann who had either a good/great or decent game.
