They rebuild their team quick, that's why they are the factory of all factories of football.

Always ask yourselves what would Pep do with their lineup:

    Ederson

    Danilo - Marquinos - Marcelo

    Coutinho - Arthur - Casemiro - Costa

Neymar - Firimino - Gabi Jesus

    On a club level:
    1. play beautiful football
    2. win league championship
    3. lose in a CL to a more physical/fast/direct team

Repeat 20 seasons in a row.

    On an NT level:
    1. lose in semis to a more direct team

I have wrote before, some people think it is about luck, good draw, hitting a form in the right moment etc.

But imo, in the last 7-8 years, we have a trend that 2 different kinds of football are suitable for different championships:
    1. for league championship, it is better to play like Barca, City and you will have higher chance to win league title than direct or physical teams like Liverpool, Real, Atletico and similar
    2. on the other hand, in CL knockout rounds and on World cups, Euros, Copa Americas and similar, all winners in the last few years played faster, direct and more physical (and somewhat defensive and counterattacking) football than classic Barca/City.

Again, in league championship, the goal is NOT to win against EQUAL teams but how to win as many points as possible against midtable and bottomtable teams who are way weaker than you.
La liga is rarely decided directly in El Classico.
La Liga is won in 20-25 matches against Getafe, Levante, Las Palmas and similar.
And imo, in this competition, you don't need run and gun tactics, but a smart tactics to dominate and score consistently against weaker teams.
This is why possession and technical football is usually the way to go in league competitions.

On the other hand, in a Champions league knockout rounds, you don't play against Getafe and Levante, but against Atletico, Juventus, Psg, Bayern, Roma, Chelsea and similar.
And a safe approach: keep the ball, pass around and eventually kill the weaker opponent who will make a mistake=is lately not the way to go.

France in 2018, Portugal in 2016, Germany in 2014, Chile in Copa America, Real in a CL.
Those are all teams who would probably end BEHIND Barca and City over 38 rounds.
But in 1 or 2 legged ties, they are lately way better than Barca, City and Spain who play a similar possession based technical football with mostly slower and less physical players.

All in all, maybe Pep's constant failures in a CL are not such a surprise...

The president of the Brazilian FA, Rog?rio Caboclo, has promised Brazil president Jair Bolsonaro that he will fire Tite and hire Renato Ga?cho as Brazil manager, per @andrizek

Unlike Tite, a vocal opponent of Bolsonaro, Ga?cho is a strong supporter of Bolsonaro.

Tite is against playing Copa America in Brazil where thousands of people are dying every day.

Imagine firing one of the best head coaches in International Football to hire a bum just because the guy is principled and doesn't stand for bs

Gabriel Jesus not called up? Damn. Thought he'd lead their attack with Vini, Neymar and Raphinha behind him.
