Kimmich was not pressed like Verrati. Marco is one of the best players under pressure. Certainly better than Kimmich in this component. But Kimmich felt calm, because PSG had no pressure in the first line because Leo and Mbappe ...

That said, he needs to be surrounded with proper offensive CM's if that midifield is supposed to function. Think it was last year he played as a 10 in a 4-2-3-1 because they lacked a creative mid.

I mean Kimmich's horse lungs are one of the main reasons why Verratti was pressed so much yesterday. The 1-0 was also not the first time Verratti is giving away balls while trying to dribble in his own box. He overcomplicates simple things and needlessly instigates these situations himself, even if he is often lucky and skilled enough to escape them, 1 error here and it costs a whole tournament and now that happened.
