For someone with so many headed goals, he doesn't seem very good in the air so far.

A good aerial presence turns some of these crosses into chances, but he loses out a lot to the CBs.

He gets no service lately. We have one winger who looks lost in Xavi's system and the other can't make a simple pass.

Inter and Bayern are the big ones for this transfer to pay off, Lewa needs to turn up in those.

At Bayern he had Muller and Kimmich who are year on year some of the highest assisters in Europe. He's having to do much more to be involved now and it's taking a toll.

The problem isn't that he doesn't score in a few games, that happens sometimes, but when he doesn't he has literally zero contribution to the game.

He doesn't give anything without good service it seems so far.

terrible performance 4/10 and what's more scary lately I can't see chemistry between Lewy and others like it was in first few games. Seems like after Bayern game team is declining a lot.

Hope he was saving himself for the next 2 games. Was involved a bit in the first half but completely gave up in the second half.

Anyone realise there is NO chemistry between the forwards? How is a 9 like Lewa supposed to score when there is no service? He 7snt Messi who can create and score by himself. Xavi is a useless coach

Probably because your crossing is utter dogshite and even Superman will struggle to reach them. :lol:

Says a lot when a past it Jordi Alba who the forum hates, is your best crosser by a countrymile.

1. He is older, slower and more tired each passing week.
If he looks slow and old now, imagine how he'll look in May of 2024.
2. Even if he was flying like a fit youngster in the first matches, I said: let's see how he'll play after 10-15 matches in a row when accumulated fatigue kicks the old man.
Again, if he looks tired now after 10-15 matches, imagine how he'll look like after 30-40 matches.

There is additional risk factor: if we get knocked out of a CL, the morale of the whole team will go down even more.

He is scoring some nice league goals against small teams, but in overal some fans went way too far with 34 years old Lewa hype and expectations.

Still, the sad news is: without him, we would barely score any goals. Raphinha, Dembele, Ferran...
