He'd be a pretty damn good false 9 for Spain. Much better than Fabregas in that role. He can dribble amazingly, he's a great passer, good fiinisher as well, AND he has the creativity and cunningness to get past a defense and score/create goals.

Spain still need to use at least 1 recognizable forward otherwise they'll be sluging out 1-0 wins at best.

4 at the back at least provides some width.

Although now with Torres back (lol) he definitely will be starting.
