He's a converted striker/winger. Just caught the highlights, but really impressive for any attacker nevermind a RB. Should be interesting to see how he develops under Emery

Interesting. Transfermarkt has no data of him playing centrally, though, just on the wings. I guess Emery has been tinkering...

Garrido at Bruges responsible for the switch as is common with attacking wing players in Spain to convert to fullbacks. Still, at nearly 6'4" gotta wonder if he will remain in defense or play up front

I hope Emery will position him as a winger. Aurier is very good also. We have 2 excellent RB which is very rare.

I like also Callegari from the academy. With Verratti and Rabiot we have 3 excellent young players in the midfield. Verratti is world class, and probably the best in the world but the others are improving fast.
