Luis Enrique

As reported by Cadena SER, Luis Enrique suffered a mishap before the match that Spain played against Kosovo, corresponding to the qualifying rounds for the Qatar 2022 World Cup and that ended with the result of 3-1, which made him arrive late to the La Cartuja stadium.

Apparently, the national coach was locked in the hotel elevator for about an hour with six members of the technical staff.

How could this happen in Spain? Would be more understandable if it was an away game and hosts would use some "dirty tricks" ahead of the game.

Also, we're playing Copa final in La Cartuja in two weeks. Let's hope we won't use the same hotel as Spain NT so Koeman or some of our players also won't stay in the elevator before the game. Probably better to just use stairs. :D

He was just waiting for MSN to come carry him up

Nah the core was different at the time. Had winners like Masche, Alves, Xavi, Iniesta still playing + Neymar and Suarez were hungry for their first significant trophies.

Still had Alba, Pique, MATS and Busquets on the team. It was basically the team that got 7-0'd by Bayern two years prior + Neymar and Suarez.

Even Pep gave up and was ready to sell half of them.

He's the one who turned them into mental midgets if anything

As per usual, this forum seems to think Bayern 7-0 never happened.

He's the reason it hasn't been a full 10 years of misery post-Pep.

This man let Madrid win consecutive CLs and their only double in decades while having peak MSN in his team #NotMyCoach

 Yes, rather support EV who let RM win a CL 3 peat on his watch while delivering us NADA in the CL.

And no, I don't want to hear anything about peak MSN as peak MSN only had a good midfield and defense behind them in 14/15 and 15/16. Not 16/17.
