Tuchel needs to adapt for next season.

His 352 is struggling against teams the 'poorer' teams that sit deep and they have to come out and beat.

Teams have had a look at it and are learning how to set up.

Let the past be past and move on from Alba, Busi, Pique, Messi etc.

They gave us glory years but those years are behind us now. Time to build something new with new players. Yes, it will suck short-term but we are not any better in this moment. (Max. Mediocre team in CL. )

When the club tried what you propose after Athens 1994, it took 12 years before the club returned to a champions league final. And it only happened thanks to the homegrown players brought up through the academy during the long march. Van Gaal tried to go the fast and easy road with Ajax 2.0 and it burned and failed in spectacular fasion.

You all want to fire Busquets, Alba and Pique but you don't talk about how we are going to pay them what it would cost to terminate their contracts.
Busquets 2 years left earning 22M/year. 44M Total.
Pique 3 years left earning 20M/year. 60M
Alba 3 years left earning 20M/year. 60M
And these three players have a bonus at the end of their contract valued in almost another year like Messi. If Messi leaves this year you have to pay him 70M more as bonus.

Coutinho 2 years left earning 24M/year. 48M
Umtiti 2 years left earning 14M/year. 28M
Pjanic 3 years left earning 14M/year. 42M

There's nothing we can do. They are not going to leave because they would not earn even half in another club and they stll have 2 or 3 years contracts. This season Bartomeu was able to "sell for free" Suarez, Rakitic and Vidal because they had one year left AND WE PAID HALF OF THEIRS SALARIES.

Barca DNA means Depression n' Anxiety these days.

This is always going to be a case with certain managers who have previous histories with a club as a player.

No top club, other than Fc Barcelona, would hire a manager who has had as many failures of their resume as Koeman had. It just doesn't make any sense.

There are 3 options for the TOP CLUBS in football:

1) Hire the best managers in the world I.e. Pep, Klopp, Tuchel, Simeone
2) Hire a (young) new promising manager i.e. Pep (10 years ago at Barca) Lucho, Zidane, Nagellsmann, Ole, Kovac, Flick, Pirlo, Ten Haag, Pochettino - This is usually high risk/high reward and as seen can have big success or catastrophic failure.
3) Hire an experienced (Older) manager who has done well at lower to mid clubs and looks to be ready for the next step i.e. Valverde, Sarri, Pellegrini, Mancini, Conte etc...

These are the only 3 options and have been the models for success in football and Koeman fits into neither of these.

There was no rationale for hiring him. His CV shows it through had through.

Agreed.

Most namings were from 3). Lucho, Valverde, Setien, Tata Martino. Even Koeman. If you put him into one category, this is it.

Only 1 manager was from 2). Guardiola.

Didn't hire a 1) manager in ages.

3 years left for Pique...are you for real?

Who the fuck signed that contract. He doesn't even play like he has 3 months left in him.

Lucho is more of a 1) than a 3) he had 2.5 years experience in pro football after Bar?a B

Koeman when appointed was at 21 years of experience. (+ years as assistant)

EV 15 years when appointed.
