Sure, you can "park the bus" and defend deep with pressure. Pressure can exist without a high line if you are scared to death of runs behind your defense from the likes of Mbappe. The problem is you have very low counter ability, so the zones where you win the ball are far from PSG's goal. And another problem is that the weakest part of PSG, which is the back 4 goes basically untested the whole match. Kurzawa was defensively a mess, and we never really tested that at all. Because we never assumed advanced positions and took that risk.

And for what? If PSG tried harder, they would've scored 6 easily. Luckily they just cooled off. If it was Bayern, it's another historic trashing. With chickenshit, conservative tactics.

You do not progress with damage limitation tactics. You have to go at teams and put pressure to get something in a game like this.

This is no damage limitation tactics. This is actually trying to keep a big game close and eventually win it.
I know that balls would be won in rather deep zones but our attack has abilities that fit a counter tactic and there would be enough space to exploit. And winning balls in our own half is better than not winning balls at all and getting outplayed on the entire pitch.
And it is not like we would leave possession to PSG. It would be about 50/50 and when in possession we could do our usual buildup. PSG did not try to press high and left our CBs free from the beginning so there would be certainly no bus parking going on.

Just apply a different defensive setup. A bit deeper and in a 4-4-2is shape. Does not mean you change your whole style or give up possession.

Alarm is ringing, but after couple of days rest and peacefull mind i knew why koeman was laughing at the end. We're gonna remontada those paris cocky fuckers, and we're gonna give a proper fight for la liga and copa, and win at least one of them at the end.

Why we can't we fucking hire good coaches?Always aiming for the mediocre ones just because he is a Barca legend.Pochetino was available, but yeah, we hired Cowman, that showed absolutely nothing in his career.

Deserves that result for starting the same starting line up that failed v PSG and then doing next to nothing to push for second goal.

Wont get a second season now and all own fault despite players not being good enough. Last two games has sealed his fate.
