I dont mind parking the bus, the thing is we never looked solid AT ALL, just 5 guys camping in the box and praying. I've seen segunda division teams bring better defensive systems vs Madrid and us in Copa del Rey that the shit we played yesterday.

Can't park the bus with nothing players like Eric Garcia playing in defense.

I'd also like to add that even in Bayernliga, the midtable clubs attack Bayern. The one thing you never do against Bayern or Real Madrid is park in the bus because these teams will always break you down.

Koeman is clueless and needs to go before next game.

-Feverish Alba with the most passes
-Nothing player Eric with the most progressive passes
-Isolated Roberto still with the highest xG-chain stat
-Giant de Jong with the tiny dot standing on Pedris shoelaces
-World class de Jong playing sideways instead of recieven further upfield
-MOTM Araujo only playing on the outside

The roster is awful. No real wingers. No quickness on top. Damn. Shambles.

You are never going to score a lot with roster like that.

A wing-back having most passes is an awful indicator for a supposedly possession-based team, so hardly a positive.

Roberto receiving the most progressive passes is also a misleading stat. It's true that he was found by a number of great switches and passes several times on his right-hand side isolated 1v1 with Davies, but failed to exploit that space. He was too slow and easily caught by Davies, and forced to pass it backward.

Garcia is a terrible defender with good passing, nothing surprising as well.

but please don't call it roster mr american :)

Looking at the picture, I think just switching giant de Jong for Demir from the start, playing in his natural inside winger role, and putting in Puig or Gavi in for one of the defenders (either letting de Jong fall back, or play with four midfielders) would let Barcelona dominate the game. Alba shouldn't have played if 38,5 the day before was correct.

I wasn't praising Alba with that line.
The Roberto line however was a bit surprising and praises him (or puts the shame on the other players). Despite him being isolated and forced to pass it backwards most of the time, he was the one most involved in building xG opportunities.

Haha yes lineup.

Yep, De Jong totally wrong choice as we saw.

Barcelona have given Koeman the next three games to reverse the situation. If he fails to do so, he could be fired. [cuatro]

No,
that's why you need a critical mind to understand the stats.

"forced to pass backwards" LOL
he was always a pass-back merchant because he does not know what to do with the ball out wide.

The fact that Roberto received the most showed how open Bayern left the Right flank knowing he is a no harm factor.
It also shows what could have happened differently if a Dembele or at least a Dest was receiving there, with all that space in front of him

Plus,
xGchain is a misleading stat.
When your xG is close to 0 the fact that the passes were going through Roberto, only to come backwards again from his feet, shows when this stat is useless

Lucky for Koeman, we?re up against Granada, Cadiz and some other small team next week. With that said, look at YB against Man U last night!

Laporta was always looking for a reason to sack Koeman. I'm not a fan of Koeman but no manager would reasonably be expected to get a result against Bayern with such a terrible squad. Pep would grimace at having to play Luuk De Jong,

Whoever he brings will not solve the problem of his creation. He stripped the team down to balance the books and is expecting good results as well. Doesn't happen without reinvestment. Our starting 11 yesterday was probably not even top20 quality.

Media claiming Barca tried to loan Rodrigo from Leeds on last day of window but Leeds couldnt as not enough time.

That.. the sale of Griezmann on Atleticos terms and LDJ being signed all further point to no planning whatsoever from board.

Circumstance have been difficult but should be dong better than this.

You seem to be deeming stats misleading based on what your "critical mind" wants to believe at the moment.
You are not explaining coherently why xGchain would be useless here.

You should point out sequences from the game where he could've played more constructively. Just by glancing on the passmap you can see that he didn't have many forward options.

Could they be expected to produce a shot on goal?
Or have a map picture that looks slightly better than this?
