Ronald Koeman

It makes the most sense right now. Pocch is better but he is a longer term option. Koeman might be the one who can stand up to the amigos and get some change started. Hopefully.

That or he leaves after a few months when he realises their all c*nts.

Out of the amigos, I think Messi, Busi, Alba and Pique will stay...they would immediately revolt against Poch.

But if we cleared out all the amigos and signed Poch, I agree it would be the best appointment.

Yelling at VVD and Mane in training. Pretty much it.

Sure he is not a top coach.
But if he takes no shit, and he can impose discipline again, and clear the dressing room, then I don't care.
That's his mission

We’ve signed him to re-establish our dominance in the Copa Del Rey.

it usually ends up with the coach fired, at big clubs. if the objective is to turn the club into a bigger circus and laughing stock...maybe he's our man.

Nervous already? ;)

More like disappointed for the Dutch players who would have benefitted from continuity provided they do get strong results with him on board.

Wonder how much the fans will criticise him for it and how much bad rep it'll give Barca in the Netherlands.

Admire him for taking it and if he can weed out amigos and improve team as a unit he will be a hero before passing on role to Xavi.

If that happens he would most likely be back in future also.

At first just seemed uninspiring and it is if this is just more of same but if he wields the axe then fair play.

Life moves quickly. He is 57 now and has already turned down the job a few times. Good chance he never gets another call from us if he turned down this offer. He is not coming into a good situation and may terribly fail, but at least he will not have to live with the regret of "what if."

Dutch national side and their development is great and all, but F.C. Barcelona doesn't come knocking that often. Glad he took the challenge and am intrigued to see how he does.

Also nice to have a legend of the game at the helm. Someone who has had stones and has faced high pressure situations unlike Setien, Valverde, or Tata.

If we rid amigos, he might do decently.
