Wasn't the news that he accented to waive the sums from the Barto 2020 extension? Does this guys have journalists in his pocket that invent PR hero stories that he wants to feed the fans?

This is a rare case where I think LaLiga is being reasonable in their application of the cap.

Hundreds of millions in wages being deferred is ridiculous, and will undoubtedly cause huge issues when that payment is to be collected and he counts as the worth of 20 first-team players for that season.

How is it against the rules, when it is just a player signing a new deal on lower wages but a longer contract. La Liga has the stupidest set of rules of any league in the world.

Even if he wants to don't defer his wages. If we disappoint this season and don't collect much revenue we will have an absolute nightmare on the salary cap next season also having to deal with Pique's 60m.
