Reaching the quarters is optimistic. If we dont get such an easy group again, I could see us even not qualifying for the knockouts.

Players need to leave. Wage bill drastically reduces. But who signs them? Club finances were dire pre COVID. New signings on a free, but what are their wage demands? Somebody has to stop the rot in finances, but as soon as that is put in place, results on the field probably suffer, and fans then want coach, manager, owner or President out.

Pique, Busquets and Alba done it again.
Roma, Liverpool, Bayern and PSG hammerings but the defensive 'leaders' always find a way to survive.
Absolute farce.
Barca were a shambles with Pique in team last season and only ever showed sustained good form without him. His ego is out of control and his legs have gone.
Barca are addressing next to nothing that needs changed in squad once again.
Ask Pique what went wrong last season, keep him in squad, keep Busquets and Alba and sign old player to try and keep Messi happy. The club never learn. Amigos alive and well.
Lol when getting banned from the ucl is less humiliating than our usual performance.

That's what you get when you are too busy getting a twitch streamer and a La Masia bum.
And honestly I think we are past the point of saying "it can get worse if we dont play the seniors" , since the bar is so low that not getting slapped 8-2 in a CL game can technically be considered improvement.
Main objective this summer should have been improving our defense and getting rid of the deadwood. Instead we are giving our deadwood paycuts and adding more deadwood.

aside from pique, we don't have realistic competitors for the oldies in our squad. so yeah, it can get worse if you just play the bench warmers for the sake of change.
laporta can't do anything right now than to ask for pay cuts. do you think he could of came in here and told them to fuck off when they still have running contracts?
yeah, i don't like it either that we resorted to free questionable transfers. seems like scouting is non-existent at this club.

The results were clear and him in team more or less coincided with the poor runs.
Pique is not a leader and played in way to stay spare and avoid defending one on one.
Lenglet was better than him even if had more individual errors as at least he attempted to defend and do the job, Araujo.. errors but better than Pique and Garcia would probably be the same.
None of those three are clear with no question marks but none of shirk defending the way Pique does.
There is absolutely no reason to think there are no alternatives even if no player signed...which there needs to be.
