3 - Gerard Pique

It's a slight dig at Pep, which doesn't change the fact that the best Pique we ever saw was under Guardiola.

Pep was known to investigate and follow his players at Barca.

Pep didn't leave Barca because of any player. It was the pressure on him to dominate, clashes with the new board and at in the end the failure to achieve anything significant in May 2012. So he took a sabbathical.

He may have been part of reason Pep left in terms of being part of squad Pep was struggling to motivate to same level having won the lot and him being knackered at trying to keep players on toes.

The idea that Pep left because Pique was one of a number of players he wanted to move on and board refused is nonsense and Pep has stated that number of times let along the timings dont even work out and it is a claim that makes no sense.

The prime reason was Rossel's administration who, contrary to Laporta's, were not willing to back him despite what they publicly said.
He had identified a malicious root in the dressing room that would eventually form the Amigo culture. Players he saw making that root were Pique Fabregas Alves, and others

Doesn't mean that Pep would have stayed for ever, as he wanted to try new leagues and challenges.
But he could have stayed another 3-4 years, and the club would have avoided the cancer of the Amigo culture

No that was not the reason.

Pep was heavily backed by Rosell board and they would have done next to anything for him stay.

Pep was worn down and struugling to see same motivation from a team what had won it all. He actually stayed longer than he ever expected to as Barca coach.

Absolute nonsese trotted out from usual suspects about Pep wanting certain players out.

Some folk never learn. It wasnt reason Pep left no matter how many time it is repeated.

"Heavily backed"
You are truly off your meds again

This motivation talk is pure BS (but good for press), that Pep put forward as he could not reveal the real reasons.
If that was ever true, he wouldn't have stayed 6+ (maybe up to 9) years at City

Difference is at City he has the perfect environment to work with and Txiki and Soriano are backing him in every decision.

Same guys that were above him in the Laporta administration, which was replaced by the Rossel one, who hated Laporta and everything related to him (including Pep that was his personal choice)
They couldn't of course kick him out, as the public would eat them alive, but they could sneakily undermine his job

Birdy you repeat same shit time and again and are clueless.

In Peps own book they stated board offered anything he wanted more or less to stay and he turned it down as not reason he was leaving.

City is not even close to being relevant... unless there is same scrutiny of coaches at City.. which there isnt.

Also irrelevant as Pep has never had a side at City that won every trohly there was to win and two CLs in three seaosons. So the issue of not motivating a team that had won it all is not there. While Pep still has unfinished business at City which was not case at Barca to anywhere near same extent.

Pep left as had won it all, was struggling to motivate players in same way in his eyes and board couldnt change his mind despite offering whatever wanted to stay.

I told yous all from start Pep would stay longer at City... it was from those in his company that stated he sees City as his legacy even more so than Barca.

Keep repeating those same lies that came from no source with any reliability and ignoring what Pep himself says and gets pissed off when folk repeat your nonsense.

Piqu?: "We had just won the treble, there was still a La Liga match left... And Pep told me 'Do not go out the night before the game!'"

Now sneakily trying to take a dig on Pep

You see people why this dude is the most toxic scumbag the club ever had?
You see why he was part of the reason why Pep left?

And some have the audacity to call him a legend

This is hardly a dig. More of a praise shows how serious pep took every match even if league was already won.
