This is Barto Part 2 ... the huge debt is still there and has not been paid down ... all the money that comes with "levers" has gone to Lewi Raphina Kounde all 50 million plus and add in their Salaries people forget to do that each player has a big salary now that has to be paid (even free transfers like Christenson and Kessie earn a lot in salary... they want to add old average players like Azpi Alonso... it's no different than Barto ... at Lewi's age you suddenly lose it... could be this year could be next year ... plus his style doesn't exactly fit... levers are not infiinite they are selling rights like crazy... this will end like it ended with Barto ...

I understand some opinions here... I am also worried about this spending of future incomes. It is like the new crisis won't happen. There will be constant cash flow... Etc etc.

Laporta is pulling the club out of the mud. That is for sure.
We need results and stars to get the income from sponsors

But the fact is Barca is living on "future income" and "borrowed time".

The players are owed big money. They are kicked out ruthlessly. This is OK if they don't fit or are useless. But the talks about wages in this process are shadey.

It would be much more appropriate to say: we don't need him. Or he is not good.

Al this he has high salary etc is plain ugly by the neutral stance. This things should be done better

Ofc the Club has it's right to say to anyone that he is not needed. That is beyond the debate. But have some class.

You are only flaunting your ignorance. Laporta inherited a calamitous situation financially from Barto, how can he possibly be Barto 2.0 when he is not increasing the debt? Good grief, some of you are infantile in your assessments

He has indeed restructured all the short term debt that threatened to sink the club with immediate effect, that was the first thing he did - again, a mess he inherited. He began the arduous process of ridding the club of fat contracts/wages that was handcuffing the club from improving the club due to Liga FFP. Levers agreed upon by GA allowed the club to sell future rights for money up front - this is purchase of future receivables, not a loan. So improved the immediate looming debt terms, refinanced the long term debt at better terms and sold future TV rights that bettered the terms of the CVC deal Barto & Liga were forcing on all the clubs

Unlike Barto, this is no Joan's first rodeo - he knows about getting into the black financially and maintaining a cohesive salary structure that he is enforcing without exception at the club rather than the wreckless wages Barto was dishing out

Stick to topics you can comprehend

Laporta says we have a deal to sell 25% of Barca studios for 100m.

Should be enough to register players.

We should sell the NFTs of our old club badges. Imagine, a Chinese billionaire can buy the Barcelona badge of the 1960s and legally sell knockoff jerseys calling the team FC Beijing.

That's millions right there.

Still don't get what "nft" supposed to be. Some guy draws a crude picture of something and.. some idiots buy them for huge money? Is it the same way as it works with the modern art, where a pink haired punk shits in the bucket and a millionaire 'art aficionado' puts down million bucks for it cuz it's liek so meaningful, deep social commentary and shit? If that's not some modern way of financial shenanigans then i just don't know.

Sounds stupid as hell to me too, but makes sense that shit works these days.
