He should be smart about pulling out from this ESL fiasco and seeks FIFA & UEFA support for it.

All players contracts are UEFA/FIFA bounds if these two liberates players from their contracts if their club are still willing to join ESL ... there will be nobody left in this "big" teams.

And the ban from national teams is also a trigger for players...

Laporta was never going to speak today in the first place. There was no planned press conference or media appearance. His plan was to meet with the committee in mid-late May before talking about everything revolving the club, the Espai Barca project, financial sitation, ESL and more.

This have been confirmed by multiple Catalan news outlets.
