Depends on how you view it. He was forced to add elements to his coaching methods thanks to a much poorer selection of players.

You can't say anything about likes of Puig and Pedri with Pep as long as they are coached by Koeman. We never know how these players would behave when managed by a master like Guardiola.

Neither did Pep so far. But experience is a huge factor in finals, and Real players all are serial winners, while all of City players are playing their first major final.

With a healthy Mbappe and a few individual mistakes at the back they easily could have. It's just the nature of the sport.

99/100 times a pragmatic approach will protect multiple goal leads. Valverde was cursed with natural bottlers and terrible luck.
