Pep Guardiola

Said this from very start.. Pep will be at City for long haul.

He sees it as his legacy and there is no move from here that he fancies either as a step up or new challenge.

In the spring of 2021, Laporta already had doubts about Koeman. That was when he approached Pep Guardiola. Pep didn't say yes or no. But he made everything conditional on winning the Champions League... Losing the final with Man City changed everything for Pep.

@tjuanmarti

There goes the stupid theory of Jammie and others that not the board, but the burnout was the reason he left Barca in 2012,
and wouldn't have continued under Laporta

Guy clearly values working in an environment where his board and president gives him full trust and support

Its fake news.

He left due to burnout after winning all could win with that group of players not your moronic theories about wanting to sell certain players which are not even logical.

Whether he ever returns to Barca or not.. it makes no difference to that being the reason he left in 2012.

Pep Guardiola: "I had already thought about leaving here (Manchester), I had even discussed it with my wife. But they tied me up again. The truth is that I feel at home."

Learn to accept your bad takes ffs. It is obvious he left because the board had different ideas about the way forward for the team.

He was Laporta's man and they wanted him out. Simple. You bought all that PR smokescreen lol.

What do you think he likes at City, the city and the weather?

He stays there a lot because he has power over the team, unlike at Barca and Bayern. For Pep's football to work, he has to be ruthless with complacent stars who became lazy. This can go all the way to selling players to refresh the squad.

Nope you need to learn how much shite you speak constantly on every subject near enough.

The idea that Pep was forced out or left because would not renew the squad is complete fabrication.

He had won it all and was struggling to motivate that team.

They never wanted him out.

What was the boards way forward for team that differed from Pep? Do tell.

You going to again make the clueless claim about them denying him selling certain players that Peps own book said was not true and he has said many times? Not least it doesnt even make any sense logically.

You read some ********* article with no trustworthy source and think that is the truth.

Textbook Serghie.

The board wanted Pep gone so much they rejected his resignation when the were first elected and then pissed off Pep by trying to get him back a few months after he left.

You have no idea as usual.

Pep offered to 'resign' when board was elected.. they could have accpeted that and went on with a 'PR Campaign' about him putting Laporta before club etc.. they didnt. After all they controlled the media and every socio through it is the claim when fits..

Near the end when Pep was telling them he was looking to leave.. they asked him to rethink rather than gleefully accept at finally getting rid of 'Laportas man'.

It took them what? Six months to anger Pep and ask him to come back as coach.. Something he could see coming most likely as asked them to 'leave me alone'. Doesnt seem a man who thought board wanted rid of him.

There was some garbage story about Pep not being allowed to sell certain players and leaving due to that.. which Pep has denied.. his ghost written book denied and never even hinted at and the timelines dont even make sense.

Usual numpties take some article with no source and think it is fact. Ignoring how board actually acted to keep Pep, rehire Pep and what Pep himself has said for reasons of him leaving.

Could hand pick that ones that would believe such articles.. Serghie is one.

Go look up who the 'source' of that moronic claim about club not allowing him to sell players..from some journo masquerading as a FIFA agent who has been mocked for years for his bullshit stories. Type of mout piece that has no idea and pipes up on el chiringuito to get headlines from pure fantasy stories.

As said can hand pick the ones that believe it though....Can already predict the mental gymnastics of how some will respond from here. Too easy.
