Jupp's Bayern vs Pep's Barca would be a great duel. Was close, actually. Shame it never happened.

This.

Used to want Pep's City to do well in the Champions League etc. but now I don't really care. Some of the shine and luster has gone off the Guardiola Barcelona love affair.

Besides, they're so robotic it's almost boring.

We were much better than PSG in the second leg and we are not really that great relative to other top teams at the moment. I do not see Paris really challenging; either City or Bayern can eliminate them easily.

This is as good a chance as Peps going to get to lift it with City. The rest of Europe's elite look a level or so below the previous season (Bayern, Liverpool, PSG) while the Spanish clubs all look non-factors.

His biggest threat will be a fellow EPL team who will raise their game against City. Similar to the years where Spurs and Liverpool dumped City out.

Personally think Chelsea are dark horses.

I am convinced that he would have won 4 CLs in a row had he not sold Eto'o

Maybe not 2011, Villa did fit that system better.

But I'm convinced we could have got a goal in that Chelsea game had we been able to bring Eto'o on off the bench.

After 4 years, he finally did it. He looked so relieved after Foden's goal lol.

Nothing short of winning the Champions League can be considered a success for Pep at City. Let's see how he handles Neymar and Mbappe now. Will he set up his side to make the same old mistakes of years past, or will he have learned a thing or two?

When was I a big PSG fan before? I have been warming to the idea of Messi going there though after a deep analysis of the situation.

It's more to do with backing Mbappe and Neyney versus our greatest coach ever.

Plus, Mbappe and Ney to finals also puts them an inch from Ballon D'Or.

So much for seeing to Leo's interests.
