Cristiano Ronaldo played 8441 minutes in Serie A... Ronaldo Nazario played 6768.
Nazario in harder league, in less dominant side and a good chunk of that playing after career alterning knee injuries.
Ronaldo scored near on 20 penalties one season for Juve also... as a club they got worse with him despite the goals... out in Europe earlier, got less points, scored less goals and lost title for first time in decade.
That is the reality.

Lewandowski has the much better career.
Numbers at every level don't lie.
Also Van Basten is just flat out better. Brazilian Football has the best image and marketing which people like Neymar benefitted from. Nostalgia is a dangerous drug. R9's style of play isn't sustainable and he found out the tough way.
