Tikitaka isn't slow, when executed properly by adequate players, it's just ponderous in a way that it's focus is to lull opposition and strike, when it's disorganized. Current players are probably just not good enough for this style, while at the same time current speed demons on flanks will scream for more direct approach.

We need speed and flexibility. And this is the direction we are working on. It's incredibly evident the team is much faster now than some years ago. Look at even the passes. They are hit with force. No more flabby passes that take seconds to roll on the grass to get to slow players, while the opponent uses this time to set properly. Passes are fast and well struck as in to inject pace in our buid-up and take time away from the defending team.

Everything we do currently is basically right in the direction of people wanting a move away from slow tiki-taka that was the norm post Pep. Except for Busi still featuring.
You never know if Xavi doesn't even try. If Bernardo comes, he will have Busi, Pedri and Bernardo. That should be enough to make midfield fluid or at least not look like disconnected.

It's just weird that Xavi, of all people, choose this route. He always said about possesion, midfield domination but actually does something differently. Perharp it can bring result faster.

I remember you used to say Xavi's fluid midfield before he became Barca coach. Doesn't age well

Let him first settle where we are with his pet the Ferret before being given another costly potential flop from Shitty.

I wonder how much time he will get, he hasn't showed anything really the time he has been in charge and now Barca has gone all in with substantial money to get these signings and the play is so far away from being there.
Will he get to Christmas? Hope they dont attach too much respect to his name and we squander yet another season, not a league title in 3 years now.

Laporta won't stand for what's been served for too long, not with the backing he's received.

We don't have time to fuck around this season, big money comes with big expectation and I'm seeing an average manager on the touchline.

He hasn't learned a god damn thing since the end of last season.

We gave him what he wanted and he still sets the team up so poorly. It's the same shit like it was last season except with a much better fucking team. It's fucking ridiculous that he refuses to budge off his failing formula.

Bad decisions. Kept switching the wingers too damn often, subs were bad and brought more chaos than anything else (except Ansu sub), and keeps playing Gavi even though he is not ready to be a full on starter. And still builds the midfield around ancient Busi who was terribly slow and couldn't escape even the pressing scheme of a team like Rayo.
