Women's football

no one cares about women's CL

Usually some portion of hardcore fans are the sport's female followers. Zero for casuals.
Adam Silver has pointed the same withWNVA, older men are the only ones buying tickets.
Most young generations will tweet about them, but won't pay a cent for them

I caught some of Chelsea's game against Bayern, they looked really good. The English women's league is becoming the best women's league in the world, if not already is. They are attracting more money and soon more talents will go there, it will be tough for the other leagues to compete with them, even for traditional powerhouses like Lyon and Wolfsburg.

Perez should try and form a womens ESL.

That comment was half a joke. But with the womens game less mature, it would be the best platform to bring more money into the topside of the continental womens game. With respect to the national leagues, the disparity is too big in Spain for example.

Hardcore fans, really? You mean those most interested in the men's team would be the ones also caring about the women's team? doubt

I would've thought that some of those might give a little money sometimes as a charity maybe, but I'd doubt they'd buy tickets and actually sit and watch the games!?
Maybe it's the same "fans" who "watch" the games with their backs against the pitch, deciding what should be chanted, or those who are too piss drunk to know the sex of the players anyway?
Most "women's football fans" I know of know next to nothing about the game, but likes being seen as "progressive". They also claim to enjoy them not diving, cheating etc. They actually prefer womens football to mens.
I myself watch the womens NT when there is a tourney and I don't have anything else to do...

Supposedly that's the plan, a women's version of the ESL will follow suit.

The reason why Real Madrid bought CD Tacon last year and renamed/rebranded them as Real Madrid Feminino out of nothing was probably because he was trying to be ready for the women's ESL.

Hardcore fans are the ones who will buy tickets to their local team in the neighborhood despite them playing in Sunday league football.
They are the ones who will watch games of the youth teams nearby and enjoy it watching those 13 or 14 years old kids play.

Those are usually the ones who will buy tickets to watch the female teams playing, since it is football and nearby with cheap tickets and no crowded stadiums to annoy them.

The forum is on fire for this final.
We are at 1.70-1.80 at the bookmakers so we will walk in as favorites.
Good Luck!
