Yeah, not one of his best matches but he played ok...He had a very poor turnover deep in Spain's own half that led to Turkey's only goal...The thing that bugged me even more than that turnover, tbh, was how poorly he reacted to the turnover...Just stood there in some sort of disbelief while play went on and Turkey ended up scoring...I don't think he even tracked back a meter after the turnover - very poor work ethic he showed there, IMHO

he scored a goal. it was an own goal actually but it was given to gerard

Since when did England u-19 start contesting a U-17 tournament? :lol:

Anyway, Spain 1 - 1 England at HT.

A lot of misplaced passes from Spain. Gerard set up the first but his passing has been subpar.
England goal came from a corner. A easy header for #6 who also scored Spain's goal. Poor setpiece defending by the spanish boys.

Also, the entire spain contingent is present to support the boys.

The spanish coach didn't do much to change the game as it went on, was just hoping, Gerard/Jesse/Paco, would save them as they always do.

This game needed a bit of a tactical touch.
