Overshadowed bye the Ericksen stuff (and rightly so), but we're in the Final. 31-26.

Tomorrow will be the Final vs Aalborg at 5pm Lisbon/London time.

Maybe Laporta needs to understand that in handball we have a tremendous reputation and dominance. I hope he doesn't cripple the team. I don't see any section of the club where were we are kings of Europe like in handball.

61 wins in 61 games is unreal. Too bad about the final with Kiel a few months ago. We could have won 2 CLs in 6 months or so.

I'm just saying it's a major pride to be no1 in a global sport that Germans, France, Balcanic, and Nordic Countries are all crazy about.

We're not the European Champions. Sporting CP is. In fact, the portuguese teams have won 3 of the last 5 Euroleague finals and have had a team in the final in each of those 5 years (excluding 2019 wich was cancelled). And in two of those finals, it was a all portuguese final. The two finals that weren't won by portuguese teams, one was by Barcelona and the other by Reus.

So, no. Barcelona is not king of Europe in hockey.

So, Laporta is free to try and cut costs from whichever sections he wants and in every position that he sees fit. He's the President and I like Presidents that don't sleep on their chair and are active, willing to help improve the club sporting wise and financially.

However, he needs to do that while maintaining the club at the top of those sports. It's very important. And I think he knows it himself.
