Yea, it's not normal to be obsessed with something as trivial as football in the grand scheme of things. To be as obsessed as Pep you have to be a bit "different" from the norm.

Its pretty normal for greats to be obsessed with winning. I believe messi and ronaldo are obsessed too. Then you look at other sports. kobe jordan.
Especially kobe.
But once they retire you can move on to things after football.
In peps case he is now a manger so hes going to be obsessed till hes an old man.

He looks very buff in his upper body, which makes him look kind of slow. Not fat like Suarez but bulky muscles. Riqui should pay him a visit.

Played 10 min yesterday btw. Didn't do anything of note. Looks very out of form, which is understandable.

Can't wait for Puig to look slow!

The combination of his height and upper body always made him look a bit chubby, but he has just a muscular body for a footballer.

His legs and arms are big, that's why he looks heavy while running.

What concerned me about last night was he looked out of shape despite only being on the pitch for 10 minutes.

That's only logical though. He is not fit at all, so he played 10 mins. He had a very long injury and played few minutes for City after it, so he is not match fit.

First notes:

1. Looks very soft. Scared of any contact. Defensive contribution similar to Dembele but smarter.(not good news)
2. He doesn't press
3. Fairly slow
4. Not the most motivated
5. He might not move much but makes smart runs
6. Dangerous inside the box

Pretty similar to Suarez. He doesn't dive as much or fight for the ball as hard as Suarez but otherwise similar.

Also, he might be playing bit softer after long season of injuries so this might not be his real play or what he is capable. Rusty for sure.

He can win us LaLiga with Messi imo

disappointing so far, big downgrade even from 2018-2020 Suarez

Yeah, but if he is semistarter for us, I don't see problem. He shouldn't be used in every match.

For example, Messi and Aguero combination shouldn't start Vs any big team. The workrate upfront isn't enough for top level.

If teams sit deep, Messi and Aguero can get it done.

As expected no chemistry between him and Leo, not a surprise Higuain was ahead of him during the 2013-2016 run.

Luis and Leo had almost telepathy level chemistry.

This guy is beyond finished.

We probably would have been better off bringing Paulinho back as a free agent in a false 9.

Sad!
