Next season he'll be asking the club to pay out his remaining contract or threaten to stay out his remaining contract which would be until 2023 or 2024 if he renews for two years.

Cannot he ask his wife to get some Israeli billionaire pay us some money and him a good salary so he can fuck off to Maccabi Haifa or some shit.

We give him a 2-year extension and his next 3 years will be him getting injured again at some point in the season and missing loads of games and wondering why the fuck did we give him an extension.

The only good thing is at least we have two new RBs and some good Midfielders potentially coming through so we don't have to rely on this guy. But at the same time, he would still be taking up room on the wage bill and Koeman is actually dumb enough to suddenly force this guy back into the XI after just coming back from a long injury.

But we don't care about that right now. We need to reduce the wage bill THIS YEAR or next budget and wage bill will be even worse. The sporting criteria will not be taken into account in any operation.

Barca doesn't think about selling Sergi Roberto. He won't be sold or be involved in any player exchange. The club values his versatility and likes him as an emergency option. His agent hasn't received any news and there is no formal offer for his renewal (via MD)

Well the spread makes sense on one hand. On the other hand you have the human aspect and keeping a player that is part of a group who hold a certain expectation to play and feature in the first 11.

Youre being too generous. Should be not that difficult of a choice if you truly hold the club dearly in your heart. In the end they get all of their money anyways.

How? He'd get 9m in a single year, now it takes 3. He's surely find another club to play for after his original contract has run out.

Depends on the bonuses tbf.

Or he can just leave now instead? That way we save his entire salary and wont have to resort to this.
