Since they already have their own version of the Nations League, Concacaf should get rid of the Gold Cup and join the Copa America

I believe CONMEBOL will be extremely uncomfortable to have some sort of qualification process for the Copa America with all the Caribbean islands participating, if the competition is set to take place every 2 years.

Maybe a similar process could work just as the one implemented in Copa America 2016 where the Carribean islands do their own qualifying play offs
