A lot of people want a tournament like the 2016 Copa but CONCACAF refuses to let anything overshadow the Gold Cup and I believe they still haven’t paid CONMEBOL their fair share for the 2016 tournament. So there is a bit of bad blood.

Admittedly I was skeptical coming into the finals.
We at best had a C and a few B team players while Mexico had at least had most of their big guns. But we pulled it off and I'm pretty certain Tata is probably gone after back to back losses though. two finals they could have done more in with the squad they had.
