Today it was the perfect match for rotations. Kimmich and M?ller have Covid, with Gnabry, Gravenberch, Mazraoui players started the match that do not get much match time lately. And Nagelsmann was able to sub players early (Davies and Musiala already in half time).

We were going to spend 100 mil despite already having Coutinho, Dembele and Griezmann. So no, it would have been swapping one disaster with another.

Alonso playing just based on experience. Pretty much every decision he’s made so far in this game has been poor.
