Next season stabilization squad

So we could've got Romagnioli for FREE and peanuts 2,5 M sallary... Tarkowsky also taken... Cavani looks like going to S.America...

What are we doing? I mean - except Bancrupting?

Romagnoli wants to go back home (Lazio), and if that doesn't happen, he still wants to above all else stay in the Serie A, so I don't think we could've gotten him even if we wanted to. These Italian players don't seem to wanna leave Italy majority of times, especially defenders, cause they seem to get exposed in other leagues.

Maybe, but can't know for sure. The Point is that we didn't even ask.

SO, instead of grabbing free agents for few 10s of M $, having a solid squad for next 2 seasons and stabilizing our finances on the long term, we are on spending spree like in best dayz...

Jović was let go for FREE? So many chances, so many FREE players, and we choose risk of Bankruptcy (spending 200 M we don't have)...

Jovic/Tarkowski/Cavani are not upgrades over anything we have already. The best way to be frugal would be to just not make any signings/sign a couple key players.

How can you say that? Cavani on his day is better than anything we have upfront. Jović is young and great prospect-not to mention swagger:

Tarkowski very good...

So, the bottom line is that we could've spent 40 M and have 2 powerful squads next year (Di Maria 7 M, Romagnoli 3 M, Dybala 7 M, Jović 5, Mertens 4, Aurirer 3, Cavani 4, Tarkowski 3, Yarmolenko 3, Isco 4, ...) and erase big chunk of our Debt. Instead, we're on spending spree, tryin' to break our record...

So, Caicedo is FREE by accident? Nice.

Vecino also, not bad player at all, and Dybala announced he'll take 6 M offer. Why not Suki return, he could be usefull? Ghoulam... Bernardeschi is a MUST...

Bernardeschi is off to Toronto to join Insigne in retirement league. Dybala doesn't fit anywhere in our formation, he'd literally be Griezmann 2.0. Even on a free, not worth it.

So if he was let go for free to Fiorentina (not totally free by the way, Madrid still have a 50% sell on clause, so they'll get some money then) you think Madrid would've left us on a free to us? Nice joke.

And what happens when those ‘free transfers’ don’t improve the team? And Barca become less and less competitive? Sponsorship decreases, attendances fall, prize money drops…

There is no time to stand still in modern day football. You get left behind.

Good coach can do wonders even with lousy players, let alone good ones. In worst case, we would diminish our DEBT in 2 seasons.

I have fear that Tabares & Co are and will be silent just to let us sink into Debt deep enough for FINAL HUMILIATION: punishing us severely, degradation to second tier competition, forcing us into humiliating conditions....

They probably watch us spending like we can with similar grim on their faces:

We stabilised when we mopped the floor with blancos at their Burnacow.

Now we are shooting both hands guns blazing.

Still a lot of interesting FREE agents to fill the holes in our squad: Goulam, Rose, Aurier, Mata, Tarabt, Ben Arfa, Dzagoev, Nolito, Iličić, Zaza, Radoja, ...
