Disappointing and depressing.

Xavi is most at fault for still allowing his team to become afraid in the last stages of games.
His subs were bad - Luuk played decently and what's more, he deserved more minutes. Depay looked like a ghost of his own, actively terrible self. Abde for Jutgla was whatever. Dembele out should've been done earlier and not because of the red card, then he chose to go down on two men up front and play with Sanz, who looks like a nothing player, on midfield instead of Puig. Ironically, Dembele might've actually been a bit more useful in the counter plan he had after the red, but instead Barcelona got to defend for the rest of the game. He can talk all he wants about the need to defend with the ball and so on but he didn't make the right decisions for that today.

It was very obvious that Gavi, who didn't have a great game anyways, was becoming tired, and as he always dives into tackles, the red was very predictable.

Did Memphis touch the ball in his 35 minutes on the pitch ?

Depay tried 10 passes and succeeded with 6, so he was lower in percentage than usually. He also looked a bit more like a fat turtle than a disco-trained street player, he wasn't very useful in any way.

Granada 0.8xG - Barca 0.86xG

That is concerning.

And that is with some of the players being obviously told to shoot on sight. The xG isn't influenced by it being terrible dembele trying once again, these shots are added to that value too.

I just don't understand what Xavi is trying to do. I really don't. There's no clear plan tactically and mentally our team is so weak. Not only the seniors but the youngsters too. We can't defend a lead and the team is too complacent and casual when leading. We have dropped at least 6-8 points conceding these late goals.

Just watched the game and wow, we went in to full panic mode after Gavis send off. Why??
By the way, Pique should have also been given a second yellow at the end.

Busquets is over the top for years now and we are playing kids who never played 1st division football with him on a regular basis.
Of course it's gonna backfire.

I think we'll see these kinds of matches often but we need to ride it out before it runs more smoothly.

Well, we kinda knew this kind of games would happen when we play most of our youngsters. This forum was asking for it, have patience now. We can secure top 4 and that's all we need to do this season.
