First round of Copa is being played this week including all Segunda division teams and 16 La Liga teams (excluding Barca, RM, AM and Bilbao who will participate in Supercopa and join CDR in Round of 32).

Biggest surprise so far is 4th division team Andratx eliminating Oviedo (Segunda). Some La Liga teams had problems to qualify for next round as well. Sevilla needed extra time to beat Cordoba (now playing in Segunda RFEF - 4th tier - but they were La Liga team just 7 years ago), the same for Mallorca against Gimnastica Segoviana. Espanyol also with a close win vs Solares (6th tier), although they've lead 3-0 but conceded two late goals.

So we're going to Bilbao, nice. Also looking forward to the Seville derby. Sociedad vs Atleti should be a good game as well.

When dont we play Bilbao in Copa? Atleast it guarantees that if we win, were champions.




(Dont look up the data of that one time we knocked out Bilbao and didnt win the cup, ya muppet :lol:)

Agree one of the worst draws possible, but looking forward to the challenge of facing Athletic Bilbao.
